Hello all RAF Luqa Remembered Forum'ers,
After a quiet spell the website and forum have had a surge of activity.
Take a look in the 'Where are they now' section and see if you can help anyone out. Al Womack has had some success in finding his friend John Sammut.

I've also created a new group of Sports and Activities and moved the Ariel Players/Manoel Theatre, Sailing Club and Rugby into it. There's also an addition to the activities group in the shape of the 1st LUQA HOME SCOUT GROUP. I know we have some ex-schoolchildren on the website and forum but do we have any ex-Scouts from Luqa? Martin Donniicii left a comment on the guestbook about this so please use the forum to leave any messages or memories for Martin, who is still Scouting and is now the District Commissioner in Malta.

On the holiday front, I'm planning to be in Malta around the week of 26 September to about 3 October 2012 and will attend the Malta International Air Show which is on the 29/30 September at Luqa (where else you might ask!).
Been looking around and was going to take up an offer of a self catering flat in Marsascala but after looking around will probably stay at the Milano Due hotel in Sliema.
Let me know if you are going to be there, some already have, through the thread '29-30 September' in the 'Trips to Malta' category.

I hope to be able to meet up with some of the Maltese contingent of the forum while I'm there and I will confirm details of my stay closer to the time.
It will be amazing to see Malta again although I'm not naive enough to think it's going to be exactly the same as 40 years ago!

Don't forget to let me have any photos or memories to put on the website, there's loads more photos on there over the past few weeks including 1151MCU which we were a bit thin on the ground with, in fact we only had 'Mitch' Hankin for a good while.
